Turmeric Rice

Who loves rice?! I know I do!! And I don’t know about you, but adding turmeric (& black pepper to activate the medicinal properties) to almost anything just makes it so much better! This rice has super power inflammation fighting spices and SERIOUSLY tastes delicious!
Ingredients:
  • 1 cup organic rice
  • 2 cups filtered water
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
Directions:
  1. Add all ingredients to a rice cooker or pot on the stove.
  2. Stir to combine well, cover and cook rice as you normally would. Usually about 20-25 minutes.
  3. Add more salt or spices if desired. Fluff and enjoy.
