Everyone loves a PB & J! But sometimes when we remove a lot of things from our lifestyle that can be challenging to have one of these yummy treats! This can actually be changed up to use a different nut butter if need be. This is a recipe I made for my peanut butter lovin’ husband but it is loved by all! I can make this with almond butter or sunflower seed butter for my peanut allergy child as well. You can also use a different berry for the jelly aspect too!

Ingredients:
PB layer:
2 Tbsp organic unsweetened peanut butter (or sub another nut butter)
1/2 cup unsweetened nut milk ( add more if needed)
2 frozen bananas
3 dates, pitted

Jelly layer:

1.5 cups frozen strawberries
1 banana
1 cup filtered water or coconut water
Notes:
*You can replace the strawberries for raspberries or blueberries.
*You can sub nut milk for water in the jelly.

Directions:
  1. Add the ingredients of ONE layer to a blender and blend until smooth. Blend up both smoothies separately. You can do whatever one you want to 1st, it doesn’t matter.
  2. Pour one layer in at a time, put a straw in it and enjoy!!

    HAPPY RECIPE SEARCHING!

Here you will find recipes either created by me or from ones I have found and changed up to my liking. I try to use ingredients that are usually 95% organic (lessen that toxic load!), very little unrefined sugars used and the majority of these are GLUTEN FREE. We eat legumes, grains, nuts, seeds, grass fed organic meats, pasture raised eggs, very small amounts of organic dairy, and lots of fruits and veggies! You can always change up the recipes to fit your lifestyle or taste buds! Thanks for supporting me and my art through food!
