I love making a healing bone broth, it truly feels like such a service to myself & my family. I added carrots, onions, peppercorns, thyme, parsley, bay leaves & Real Salt. 🥕 So silky & nourishing from all that fatty goodness. This medicine provides us with vitamins & nutrients like iron, vitamins A and K, fatty acids, selenium, zinc, manganese, calcium & magnesium.. The collagen in this broth turns to gelatin when cooked, which provides the body with amino acids, like glutamine & glycine, which are helpful to the joints & gut in many ways. I don't know about you, but living in this broken stressful world in a broken stressed out body, I need all the help I can get.

INGREDIENTS
:
  • 1 Chicken Carcass
  • 2-3 ribs of celery
  • 1 whole onion
  • 2 large carrots
  • 1/2-1 teaspoon Sea Salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon Cracked Pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Apple Cider Vinegar
  • 8-9 Cups Filtered Water
  • Optional: sea weed like kelp, turmeric, ginger, herbs like rosemary and thyme

DIRECTIONS:
  1. Place all your ingredients and any other add-in ingredients into 6 quart pressure cooker.
  2. Cover with water until just under max fill line (about 8-9 cups).
  3. Seal lid and valve. Cook on high pressure for 1 hour and 25 minutes. Allow the pressure to naturally release.
  4. Once depressurized, remove large pieces from stock using a slotted spoon.
  5. Strain stock through a double mesh strainer or cheesecloth.
  6. Refrigerate and use within 1 week or freeze.

    HAPPY RECIPE SEARCHING!

Here you will find recipes either created by me or from ones I have found and changed up to my liking. I try to use ingredients that are usually 95% organic (lessen that toxic load!), very little unrefined sugars used and the majority of these are GLUTEN FREE. We eat legumes, grains, nuts, seeds, grass fed organic meats, pasture raised eggs, very small amounts of organic dairy, and lots of fruits and veggies! You can always change up the recipes to fit your lifestyle or taste buds! Thanks for supporting me and my art through food!
