If you have health issues like me and suffer with muscle and joint pain, finding something that soothes it is essential. I have many issues from Lyme, thyroid and mold that contribute to random overall pain and have found using this salve has really helped. It is warming instead of cooling like Icy Hot which for me is best. I finally found something that is natural without petroleum based ingredients and really works to help ease my neck, back and nerve pains.

This is what makes it so soothing to pain:

Cayanne: Naturally anti-inflammatory and antispasmodic, cayenne pepper contains a constituent called capsaicin. The reason that cayenne works so well for muscle and nerve pain is because the capsaicin blocks a neurotransmitter, called Substance P (SP), that transmits pain signals from the nerves to the central nervous system. When cayenne is used topically, it can help relieve all sorts of pain, from back pain, muscles spasms, menstrual cramps, and even arthritis.

Ginger: The warming abilities of ginger help to improve circulation and relieve tension in tired muscles. This root has been used in Traditional Chinese Medicine for thousands of years making it a tried and true addition for anti inflammatory medicine!

Turmeric: There are numerous healing properties to turmeric that not only help to ease muscle strain and pain, but also arthritis and joint inflammation. One of the constituents that give turmeric its superhero status, is curcumin, which naturally helps to lower the levels of enzymes within our body that cause inflammation.

Calendula: When applied to your cuts, scrapes, bruises, and insect bites, you can quickly speed the healing process, partially due to its anti-inflammatory properties, in addition to the unique antioxidant compounds found in this miraculous plant.

To Use: Using a small pea sized amount, massage into sore achy muscles and joints. If using for chronic pain such as arthritis, daily use is suggested and can take up to a week or two before you start seeing results.

Safety: Not for internal use. Do not use on open cuts or wounds. Not for use if pregnant or nursing. Keep out of the reach of children. Avoid use around face. Take extra care to wash hands thoroughly after use or use gloves when applying the salve since it has HOT properties.
