Vitamin C packed HIBISCUS GINGER SYRUP for WHATEVER your heart desires.  For me I used it in some iced oatstraw infusion for a little calm afternoon cooler. 🧊 Hibiscus is known to prevent hypertension, lower blood pressure, reduce blood sugar levels, keep your liver healthy, help with menstrual cramps, help with depression, aid digestion and help with weight management. Its contains minerals such as flavonoids and has laxative properties. Full of benefits!

INGREDIENTS:
  •  1 cup dried hibiscus
  •  1/4 cup dried ginger pieces
  •  4 cups cool water
  •  1.5 cup raw honey
DIRECTIONS:
  1. In a medium sized saucepan add your herbs and water. Bring this to a boil and then reduce the heat to simmer. Allow the mixture to simmer until the liquid is reduced by about half.
  2. Remove from the heat and allow it to cool just a bit so you strain off the herbs. Using a mesh strainer over a bowl, pour in the herb mixture.  Once cool enough, squeeze out all the liquid.
  3. Stir in the raw honey, mix well and store in the fridge for about a month!
